Underfloor heating embedded in concrete is suitable for both new construction and renovation. When the heating circuits are embedded in the concrete, the underfloor heating installation does not increase the height of the floor. With renovation and rebuilding projects, the circuits are normally laid on top of existing floors and covered with self levelling screed. During new construction or in addition with a slab-on-ground foundation, the clip rail is pressed into the building insulation with pipe holders. The pipes are easily pressed down into the rail, where they are positioned safely and at the right distance for perfect heat emission. The pipes are embedded in the concrete slab, and the floor material is installed over top
